Recognition of Coursework and Examinations Passed During Studies Abroad

The recognition of academic coursework and examination results of Marketing courses taken abroad as an equivalent of a course of the Area Marketing is carried out by each chair on a module-by-module basis. Each student who applies for a Learning Agreement has to prove the equivalence of courses taken abroad and courses of the University of Mannheim.

At the chair of Marketing & Innovation, the contact person for the recognition of courses taken abroad is Andreas Polthier. You will find the contact person of the other chairs of the Area Marketing on the chairs' websites.

At our chair, the following information has to be submitted in order to apply for a Learning Agreement

  • Completed Learning Agreement form
  • Name and country of the university
  • Syllabus: name of the course, level of study (3rd year bachelor or master), course outline, literature, range of activity (exam, case presentation, written report), length of exam
  • Ranking of the business universities of the given country.

Please find the Learning Agreement form [in German] and detailed information on the regulations on Learning Agreements [in German] here.

Only complete applications can be processed. Please do not send links to websites containing information on courses as we can not engage in any websearch activities.
